I'm not mechanically inclined, but I enjoy putting things together. It took me under 2 hours to assemble both the chair and the ottoman by simply following the printed directions without needing any specialized equipment beyond what was included. I made sure to follow both the instructional video and the included guide, it would be completely impractical to attempt assembly without them. The whole process took me roughly an hour working solo, and no specialized equipment was required. It's solidly built and ought to hold up for years. I've been using my chair consistently, every day for ten days now. I adore it. The chair arrived exactly as the company indicated and without problems, in two boxes. Exceptionally well protected. Assembly required a couple hours, and if I hadn't been working solo and had assistance, it probably would have taken half that time. A few of the fasteners were tricky getting aligned as I really didn't want to accidentally damage any threads, which I suspect could occur if someone got impatient and forced things, especially with the armrest components that attach at a slight angle. This is where help would be useful.
Now that the chair is put together, I can confirm the furniture is sturdy and well constructed, premium quality. The worries I had about the clip mechanism for the cushions turned out to be unfounded. If I hadn't read about that feature, I wouldn't have noticed. To my untrained eye, the cushions are securely attached without any indication otherwise.
The chair is also extremely comfortable. I use it for extended reading and writing sessions without becoming sore or stiff. The upholstery is top quality and shows no damage from my cats' claws. So far they haven't attempted scratching it intentionally and haven't caused damage just by napping on it when I'm not using it.
Overall, I couldn't be more satisfied. I looked at options locally, and this was over $1000 cheaper for something comparable in comfort and appearance (but not the correct aesthetic), and essentially the same cost for one with a similar look, somewhat, but was so uncomfortably rigid I couldn't picture relaxing in it with a Sunday puzzle or a good book.

I have to say this one exceeded what I anticipated. This model accommodates my stature, unlike most recliners. It's solidly built, the upholstery not only has a wonderful texture, it's visually stunning and very comfortable. The assembly challenge came when attaching the backrest. However, with some assistance, I managed to fasten it properly. It's an outstanding furniture piece! It's genuine leather and looks gorgeous. I'm pleased with my decision. SO COMFORTABLE!

After wanting an Eames Lounge Chair for years and not being willing to spend the money for a Herman Miller version, I was absolutely amazed discovering I could own this chair at an affordable price. For a reproduction, you cannot distinguish it from the authentic version. I visited the Herman Miller showroom so frequently, my wife joked I should move in there. My shipment arrived in separate deliveries. One carton appeared as though it had been struck by a forklift rather than lifted properly. I anticipated the worst. After opening the boxes, zero damage found. Assembly was simple. Construction was straightforward and the chair is robust, substantial and solid. I have zero complaints about the quality and finishing of this chair. The only element missing to make this a genuine Eames Chair is the label underneath with the Herman Miller branding on it...I think I'll survive! Thank you Seller for an outstanding product
